On Saturday, September 21st, the 2024 Tottori Prefecture High School English Speech Contest was held in Hokuei-cho, Tottori Prefecture.  Twenty-four high school students from thirteen high schools in Tottori prefecture competed.  Ms. Koume Maruyama (2Z class) from Yonago Shoin High School competed and gave an impressive English speech titled “Various Family Forms”.  Although,  she could not win a prize in the competition, Ms. Maruyama expressed her own opinion very well in English.
