グローバルリーダーズキャンパス認定証が松本栞奈さんに授与されました！

本校2年T組の松本栞奈さんが、米国スタンフォード大学と鳥取県教育委員会が共同連携して行った7ヶ月間にわたる遠隔講座プログラム(全10回程度)を修了し、スタンフォード大学から優秀な成績を修めた生徒に送られる認定証を授与されました。

Kanna Matsumoto（2nd grade student）received the certificate of completion on the Stanford Program on International and Cross-Cultural Education at Stanford University.

This program is offered by Tottori Prefectural Board of Education and Stanford University to provide students with a broad overview of U.S. society and culture and U.S.-Japan relations.

She attended this program for 7 months and achieved excellent results.

松本さんの感想

この活動を通じて英語力が向上したと実感しています。オンライン授業は全て英語で行われたので当初は理解するのが大変でした。「少しでも多くのことを聞き取らなければ」という焦りが向上心に変わり、さらにやる気が湧きました。徐々に内容を理解できるようになり学習に意欲的に取り組めたと思います。遠方の学生のみなさんとも交流ができ、とても楽しかったです。  一つの物事に対して、学生それぞれの考え方や視点が違うのが興味深く、刺激的でした。英語を学ぶことで将来の選択肢が広がると思います。まだ明確な目標が決まっていないので、今後も英語を学びながら選択肢を広げていきたいと思っています。

Through this activity, I feel my English skill has improved. The classes were all conducted in English, so it was difficult to understand at first, however, I gradually was able to listen and understand the content. I enjoyed it and it was also fun to be able to interact with people from distant schools.　They spoke very good English, so I was a little nervous, but my impatience led me to a desire to improve, which made me even more motivated.  It was interesting and stimulating to see everyone’s different way of thinking and viewpoints on one thing.  I believe that learning English will expand my career options.  I don’t have a clear career path yet, so I would like to work harder on my English and expand my options.
